Honestly, how cool could you be? (Pun intended, it was suuper hot!)

Our final stop in Death Valley is to mosaic canyon. In some parts the walls of the canyon are made the stones that have been washed away in mud and that conglomerate has turned to rock. Water has cut through it and polished it so now it resembles a mosaic.
We walked a fair way up the canyon, through some obstacles that we had to clamber over (rock falls like the movies). But I think the most beautiful part was only a couple of hundred metres in, where all the smoothest, waviest parts are.
We meant to get up early to see the dunes at sunrise, but we accidentally set the alarm late. So we get up with the sun rather than before the sun. But it gives us a chance to see our camping spot in a different light as we watch the sunrise over the mountains through the windshield.

Our plan for today is to do the Golden Canyon and Lower Gulch walk, then Badwater Basin, Devil’s Golfcourse and Artist’s Pallette. For sunset we plan to go to Zabriskie Point
